Help!

I am doing a research paper on "birth order" and how it affects children. There are some studies that say that birth order really doesn't matter, it depends on the personality of the child. Other studies suggest that the older child is more responsible, the middle children are always trying to get attention and the youngest is spoiled and irresponsible.(These are generalizations because everyone knows an exception to the rule). I would like to get some input from y'all! What do you think? Thanks for your time! Happy Day!
Thought for the day: I believe that just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

I saw your blog on Jamie's blog and couldn't help but respond on this one. The overall roles of kids in our family follow what you put, except one middle one who acts more like a first child. John's family on the other hand is not anywhere near that profile. The oldest acts like the youngest, the 2nd acts like the oldest in taking charge of things and overall planning and welfare of the kids and the rest of the kids are responsible without any of them acting spoiled and irresponsible. His family has a ten year head jump on my family though, so maybe in ten years we'll be closer to that. I have found that if you look at a family there will always be one kid who seems to be in charge of the others in regards to planning and welfare, etc. Usually it is the oldest, but if they aren't stepping up someone else inevitably fills the role.
